Common fixes
A file says it can't be played
Check its format on the formats page. If it should play, the file may be damaged, so try it in the Files app.
Song names look garbled
Names come from the tags inside each file, and older files can store them oddly. Use Edit Details in a song's menu to fix the name.
An iCloud file won't import
Open it in the Files app so it downloads to your device, then import it again.
Files copied from a computer don't appear
Switch to another app and back, pull down on the Songs tab, or use Rescan Library in Settings.
A download link won't work
The link has to go straight to an audio file. Web pages, streaming services and video sites will not work.
Moving to a new phone
Use Export Backup in Settings, then Restore From Backup on the new phone. Copy your audio files over too, since the backup doesn't include them.
